This has to be a mean to connect some of the characters. The codes must have something to do with their part in Crooked's business/operations. To start, from the victims and the people they worked with, we can see that, in common...
- Faith and Lily both have 'J' and 'DD' (some "Kay", probably other working girl also shares both codes), plus Lily has a 'Z' (shared with a lot of other characters).
- Nerissa, the only prostitute we know that's still alive, like her passed "friends" has 'J', 'DD' plus 'H'. ('H' is only shared with Mr. Knigth, plus he has an 'Z' like Lily and a few others).
- The other girl from P&P, the boss' favorite, Vivian, like all others has a 'DD' but unlike them has no 'J', plus 'Z' like Lily, 'F' and 'V'.
- The head of P&P, Georgie, has nothing in common with any of the girls. He has 'KK' (shares with Mr. Smith), 'FF' (shares with no one) and 'LL' (shares with Mr. M).
Anyway, there are many more connections that can be made, and maybe some could help answer some questions. Also, I bet people who have read the comics recognize some of the names which also could help by some chance.
We now have ahead of us a long fucking wait for the next and final episode. And I'm hoping Telltale don't rush it. Episode 4 failed to do the game justice, as well as their company standards. I hope they close The Wolf Among Us on a good note. Hopefully good enough to justify another season... Come on Telltale, don't fuck it up! :-)
The letters are obviously the potions. What they do with them, I don't know. But it's the same letter combinations on the first board that is labelled "in stock:". And the potions on the rack have the exact same letters on them.
So the first board is an inventory list of the potions (and other magic stuff). The second board maps those magic items to people.
The intriguing part is, what these magic-item-to-people combinations mean.
Maybe that are the things the Fables have to deliver for paying off their debts? Aunty Greenleave has "O" on there, which is "glamour tree seeds", which she had access to. Many of the other stuff I don't know about. It has names like "Star of the north", "Trollbane" and such. I don't know what those are and therefore can't tell whether or not the Fables that have these letters next to their names have access to that thing.
Kay is the boy from the Snow Queen, who had a shard of the Magic Mirror embedded into his eye.
And now he sees the sins committed by whomever he looks at, and constantly removes his eyes to stop the visions.
Unlikely, but what if Ms. W was Ms. White (Snow)?! What a twist.
