Not sure if I made the choice I wanted --
I had to replay the Jersey scene because I accidentally left the money in the pawn shop. I knew I'd need it either for Beauty/Beast (shut up I have an attachment to those characters) or someone else.
However it became pretty obvious that the money was going to be used for Toad, so when that scene came up where he's asking for help, I said I would. He left doing the bouncy hop, all happy, but I don't think I saw Bigby actually hand him any money.
What exactly happened? Did I give it to him and just missed it, or did I fuck something up? He definitely left happy.

He promised him money, I think. He didn't give it to him.
Oh thanks.
I was thrown off because I kept seeing comments here saying "I gave Toad the money".
In my gameplay, Bigby handed him the money.
He promises if you don't take Crane's money (ofc if YOU actually choose to promise)
You have to go to the lucky pawn first and offer him the cash, in which he will decline it. But then after you get crane's money then have the conversation with him at then office, you'll be able to pay him instead of only promising him.
I had no money so i just promised them to Toad.
Ah, yeah I didn't take the money.
That's wrong I went to the butcher first but I took the money from Cranes coat & gave it to to toad back at the office
hmmm...that didn't work for me. When I went to the butcher's first I was only able to promise him the money at the office. That's interesting. Were you nice to toad through out the game? I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it?
I had the money but I never gave it to him, remember the theory where in the end you have to give Crooky all the money? That's what I'm doing, and even if that never happens, it is property of the Fabletown Business Office.
