If you are a judge in Fabletown, how would you punish...

  1. Bloody Mary
  2. Dee and Dum
  3. Georgie
  4. Jersey
  5. Crooked Man

Anyone I missed?

  • If I was judge they would all die by snu snu.

  • If proven guilty, isn't the punishment for treason automatically execution in Fabletown?

  • LOL, is there even a judge? There's not even a deputy sheriff.

Under the current circumstances, Snow would judge them.

1: Capital Punishment for treason and lethal assault on a Fabletown official, as well as kidnapping and potentially being an accomplice to slavery.

2: Capital Punishment for treason and the attempted murder of a Fabletown official, as well as being accomplices to kidnapping and potential slavery, three counts of assault and at least one count of breaking and entering.

3: Hard to say. Depending on what Fabletown law says about forcing magical items potentially fatal to themselves on your employees, we might be able to pin something on him there. Otherwise, I don't see anything. Unless he proves to be more deeply involved in the murders and the Crooked Man's illegal business than he appears, in which case he also risks capital punishment.

4: Fined and sentenced to hard labor at the farm for an indeterminate duration for the assault on a Fabletown official and whatever else we can drag up about him, unless he proves to be more deeply involved in the murders and the Crooked Man's illegal business than he appears, in which case he also risks capital punishment.

5: Capital punishment for treason and potentially slavery. Assets to be transferred to the Fabletown Government.

For those who don't read the comics, execution in Fabletown is done by headsman's axe, with your remains dropped down the Witching Well.

  • It is.

    1. Witching Well (EDIT: actually, with that using reflective surfaces as a portal thing, we'd probably need to kill her first)
    2. Witching Well
    3. Repossession of all assets
    4. Repossession of all assets
    5. Repossession of all assets and maybe Witching Well
  • Witching Well for everyone, end of story

5 seconds in jail, a slap on the wrist and they can also take a lollipop on the way out. I don't think anyone could stand that.

Scratch Bloody Mary off the list, she may be useful for... other reasons.

    ...

As head chef of the Fable cooking class, of course!

  • She knows how to handle a knife.

  • No, their heads are chopped off and then the body is thrown down the Witching Well for good measure. As of the time of the game, nobody in Fabletown actually knows where the Well leads, and nobody has ever come back out of it. In the comics, they once allow a criminal to jump down the Well fully alive as a gesture of mercy, but standard procedure is to execute them first.

  • Under fable law Dee, Dum, and Bloody Mary would be executed unless they were valuable to keep prisoner. Georgie, Jersey, and Crooked Man would have a trial.

  • edited June 2014

Dee, Dum and Bloody Mary would be "put down" for attempted murder, and criminal activity.

Georgie would have the "Pudding and Pie" shut down, and be sent to the Farm.

Jersey would be sent to the Farm, and all items in the shop be returned to their rightful owners.

The Crooked Man would be executed.

  • Why and how would jersey go to a farm? He's a demon not an animal

  • Is there a difference?

Bloody Mary: Imprisonment for attempted murder and assault and kidnapping.

Dee and Dum: Imprisonment for attempted murder and assault.

Georgie: Imprisonment for using magic in ribbons to keep prostitutes enslaved.

Jersey: Store shut down and a minor prison sentence for assault.

The Crooked Man: Throw is ass down the Witching Well or life sentence.

He has a glamor. You can't send him to the Farm then. Besides, compared to normal imprisonment, the Farm is most likely a paradise.

  • That would be a generous punishment, but unlikely. The laws are harsh.

Bloody Mary: Imprisonment for attempted murder and assault and kidnapping. Dee and Dum: Imprisonment for attempted murder and assault.

  • The same way Snow will do it.

Bloody Mary: Headsman's axe for treason, lethal assault as well as attempted murder of Sheriff Bigby in front of the judge's eyes, and enslavement of Fablekind.

Dee and possibly Dum: Headsman's axe for treason, attempted murder of Sheriff Bigby in front of the judge's eyes, armed assault at a funeral, assault on Toad and possibly Toad Jr., as well as being accomplices to kidnapping and slavery of fablekind.

Georgie: Headsman's axe for enslavement of fablekind.

Jersey Devil: Heavily fined and a minimum of 20 years of hard labor at The Farm.

Crooked Man: Headsman's axe for treason, enslavement of fablekind, kidnapping accomplice, and armed assault accomplice.

  • Unfamiliar with the laws, but this is my opinion, no?

  • How can Bigby and Snow claim the Farm is not a prison when some of you suggest some of these guys should be sent there? (Assuming that it has been the case in the comics). No wonder Colin feels the way he does.

  • Forcefully working to improve Fabletown is what happens with medium offenses, and since that kind of work can't be done in the city (mundies) it has to be done at The Farm.

Humans can walk around the farm any time they want. They're not excluded.

The only deal with the farm is that non-humans can't leave.

  • Man what the fuck is wrong with you?

  • Maybe a little bit less next time? This is a forum dedicated to the game, please go share your sexual fantasies elsewhere because this ain´t the place for it.

  • That´s a little bit too harsh, don´t you think?

  • Bloody Mary and the Crooked Man go down the Witching Well with their top bits missing.
Georgie and Tweedledee get a slap on the wrist because they're my favorite characters.
Jersey and Crane (you forgot Crane, by the by) go work at the Farm for a few decades/centuries.
    Dum is already dead.
