    Make (someone else) believe (a lie that you told them), but only because make believe is generally used to describe little kids pretending to be princesses or cowboys. I like make believe when it's used to write a good book, though.

    Shooting things. Guns can only mean 2 things: 1) shooting things, or 2) gun-butting things. However, you can shoot things with all kinds of fun stuff; bullets, arrows, magical orbs.... Or, the pastime known as "shooting pool".
