A Fable Vacation (Summer Thread)
You may skip reading the introduction if you want to go straight to the question being asked. It is located under the ‘decisions, decisions’ sub-title. Although I would recommend reading the intro anyway, if you want further insight on what’s going on. (quite similar to my previous scenario threads) As for my Fable storytellers, the holiday challenge can be viewed at the very bottom, if you wish to tackle it.
An introduction:
You sleep peacefully after a long drunken night with Gren and Woody. Your alarm clock rings, rudely interrupting your beauty sleep. You attempt to toss and turn vigorously, hoping that the noise would stop, until finally, you slide the annoying contraption off your nightstand as it crashes onto the floor.
“Ugh, what a night.”
You rub your tiresome eyes and decide to pour yourself a glass of some tasty orange juice. Walking over to the kitchen, you do just that. You take a good look at the fridge calendar, slowly sipping from a cold glass full of your favorite beverage.
“Let’s see, that is another day off from June.” You let out an exalted sigh. “I can’t wait until summer starts - wait a minute.” You run your finger from the 20th to the 21st, eyes widening in excitement.
“YES, YES, IT’S OFFICIALLY HERE!”
Doing your usual routine of personal hygiene, you open your closet to put on your favorite summer attire as you walk straight out the door.
You step into the elevator, feeling very ecstatic about what you’re going to do for your vacation. After a few minutes of listening to an annoying, yet strangely soothing elevator track - the doors finally open as you walk into the Woodlands lobby. Flycatcher couldn’t help but notice your cheerful mood.
“Hey, what’s the special occasion?” He asks.
“Oh, just going to meet some of the other Fables over at the I Am The Eggman Diner to discuss some vacation plans, wanna come?”
“Nah, I can’t, even though it’s summer, I still have to clean these halls. You know how it is.”
“All right, Flycatcher, I understand.”
He tilts his hat over to you and resumes his work.
Meanwhile, at the diner…
“Hey, that’s my buddy! Come sit down with us, we were waiting for you.” Giving out a smirk, you sit down in the comfortable booth.
Decisions, decisions:
“Well, Snow and I have been discussing your vacation, Bufkin and Boy Blue already got everything situated in your favor. All you gotta do now is choose where you want to go for your vacation, and who will you bring as well. So, what are your plans?”
F.S.A. Summer Challenge: Make a separate story or chapter that has your Fable character visit any country in the world for their vacation. (yes, it has to be only one country)
However, if you want your particular Fable to stay inside the United States without having to travel to any foreign country, you are free to do so. You just have to write about where they will go inside the U.S. instead, any state or location would be acceptable.
Have fun! You have until the 30th to post whatever story/chapter you have on the ‘create a fable’ topic, I’ll be picking the best ones to include in an award category for June’s Fable Storyteller Awards.

Ok, I have just two questions.
Can our character TAKE a fable with us on this vacation OR is it just our Fable? And do we post it here or in the 'start a story, be your own fable' section? Can't wait to tackle this!!
It is recommended that you take at least one Fable of your choice along for the trip, but you can make them do it solo if you really want to. Basically, it's either/or. Posting it in the original story thread is required! I hope I made it clear enough!

Nice start, Emmy! But 'would you kindly' post your story on the original thread? This certain thread is meant to be like a briefing/explanation for anyone who is interested in doing the summer challenge.
