[Resolved] Constant stutter, some lines out of sync, sounds looping

The game freezes up for about a second at a time, repeatedly, particularly when the camera angle changes. Sometimes lines or sounds will loop and then cut off or dialog will stall for a moment. I had the same issues with Walking Dead seasons 1 and 2. This makes for a very tedious experience, so hopefully it can be fixed.

EDIT: I found the problem, as far as TWAU goes. A few days ago I was fooling around with Realtek HD Audio Manager and I enabled Headphone Virtualization. I tried going back to default settings on it and The Wolf Among Us' stuttering problem has been almost entirely eliminated. It's now more than playable.
This hasn't fixed the issue in The Walking Dead Season 2, though.

I apologize for the inconvenience. Any minor hitching during autosaves or loading sequences may be experienced, but any major hitching or lagging is unusual. I noticed you have a Gigabyte technology computer. There are known issues with some Gigabyte motherboards that prevented multiple games from running properly. You may need to update your BIOS which you can do at Gigabyte's website.

It's also possible this is an audio issue. (As you mentioned in your edited response.) Please try unplugging all speakers and mics. Then make sure you have headphones plugged into the audio jack on your computer.

Lastly, you may need to install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8328
