Why wont telltale continue this game?

jurassic park and back to the future, although i never played those games i know they were discontinued, as i can see TWAU is doing decent on steam its occasionally on 1st top sellers list also decent number of comments. Telltale maybe uncertain about TWDs3, also i think borderlands might not have multiple seasons simply because borderland's community and telltale ideas might not have synergy (cmon borderlands is a fps)
if we compare TWAU to jurassic park and bttf, its pretty clear that TWAU hands down is more successful than either.

  • Well, Telltale hasn't outright stated there won't be a second season. Do I wish to have another season? Absolutely, and I know a lot of people feel the same.

Still, I'd say we wait for the final episode before we can discuss this any further. Maybe we'll get a scene after the credits, who knows?

  • TWD was successful enough to warrant a second season. TellTale's other releases were not, and as far as I see, neither will The Wolf Among Us.

The only thing we can do is try and hype the game (get your friends interested in it) so that it will sell better. Keep in mind Game of Thrones and Borderlands is coming, so they have a lot on their plate for the next year. The more we can do for TWAU sales, the more reason they'll have to continue another season.

I think they are waiting to see if more people demand another season. TWD is very popular and a lot of people enjoy those kinds of games. TWAU, however, may not seem playable by the larger group of gamers. I'd love a 2nd season. Really, I would. There are so many possibilities to do in regards to Fabletown. Only time will tell, though. :) I'll be waiting for that day.
