Anyone else wish they stuck with the original story?
Not just because of the delay, but the original story in general just sounded more interesting.
Telltale originally intended Bigby to have multiple run-ins with the police in episode one and to become a suspect in the murder of Snow White in episode two, possibly being framed by “The Boy Who Cried Wolf”, whom players on Telltale’s own forums already had spotted correctly in the first episode of the game. Bigby’s true identity would have been questioned from the second episode onwards, too.
One of episode two’s cut sequences would have had Bigby disguised as female police officer Kelsey Brannigan enter the police station’s morgue to retrieve “Snow White’s” body. This sequence, along with the entire story arc, was removed prior to release without a real substitution though — attentive players had already noticed that the preview image for episode 3 has been changed with the release of episode 2.
In my opinion even if a bunch of people found out the killer very early, it still would of been a great game.

Nah, they are supposed to focus on the alleged "killer" of Faith and the Crooked Man (though, I bet there is no killer and they took off the ribbons to expose the Crooked Man, taking off the ribbons means they lose their head). It's good that they re-focused the story, it would have to drag on for alot more than those 5 episode if they didn't and they couldn't do it with The Walking Dead also in production, not enough time and such. Also, Tales From Borderlands as well. The story right now is way more action packed and suspenseful, it's what I actually wanted out of the game, chances for Bigby to be a badass, not play in a thriller soap opera. It's better the way it is now, it's why Telltale did it.
I personally would have preferred a simple serial killer story arc and not this whole underground black market thing telltale is doing. I remember people trying to figure out who killed the prositutes after ep 1 and 2. Now no one really cares.
Ignore.
