At first, I was thinking about imprisoning him with magic and so I chose that one to be nice, despite everyone but Greenleaf wanting him dead(Hell, Gren wanted you to do something worse than even throwing him down the witching well). It made the trial scene intense as hell because almost everyone was against me from the beginning, but I wasn't going to let that asshole stick around. I hate criminals.

I knew taking him to the trial and letting him speak in front of Fables was a mistake (he had a silver tongue sinc… moree the beginning of Chapter 5), but I wanted to give Snow a chance to have a fair trial. The trial just confirmed my suspicion that he will only try to instigate the Fables against their government and put himself onto piedestal as their savior, even though he was just exploiting them. I did not want to let a dangerous man like that a single chance to dig his way out of the Well or risk that some corrupt Fable would break his imprisonment spell, so I killed him.
I locked up the crooked man, for some reason I thought that killing him wasn't what Fabletown needed right now. The trial showed me that Fabletown can be a good community even if brought together through dark times. To simply cast away The Crooked Man didn't feel right, to trap him and lock him up felt much more justifiable

I imprisoned him, I feel like being turned into a crow, put into a cage, and set off to the farm was way worse than killing him.
