A Problem With Save Files?

I just played and finished the final episode for The Wolf Among Us and before I say anything else, I'd like to point out that I enjoyed it very much and it was a great experience for me. However, there something went wrong with my game that prevented some of my choices from carrying over...

In Episode One, I saved Lawrence and yet he wasn't at the trial in the end.
In Episode Four, I told Colin he didn't have to go to the farm and yet he was forced to go anyway.
Also in Episode Four, I gave Toad money to keep him from going to the farm and, while I know Toad goes regardless, he never brought up that I gave him money (I've seen this happen in other people's playthroughs).

Has anyone else had this problem? Granted, it's not THAT big of a deal, but it still sucked to not have some choices carry over. What gives?

  • YES.

I sympathized with Colin and told him I'd make sure he wouldn't go to the farm, and both the 'last time on' and the ending seemed to act like I was a jerk to him.

Also, I specifically did not burn Greenleaf's tree, but instead I offered her a job, and yet everyone acted like I had burnt it.

  • Yeah, happened to me too. At the final court trail I was accused of burning down the witches tree and had to apologise for it which made me really mad seeing as I spared her tree and wasn't willing to replay an entire episode just to fix a choice I didn't make.

  • My game worked fine but I have seen a number of complaints of it not working properly. The only thing I thought was odd about my game is that with the tree I said "we don't have time for this", completely dodging the issue of whether it should be burnt (because we actually didn't have time to stand around arguing) but greenleaf in the trial said that I disagreed with snow and saved the tree. I assume this is just a convenience though rather than a bug.
