PS3 freezing on loading screen

Just in case other people run into the same issue.

On my PS3 everytime a trophie popped during a loading screen it would freeze. I was able to fix it by restarting the ps3, syncing my trophies then reloading the game. When I didn't sync the trophies it would continue to freeze when loading the game. I did have to replay the same scene a couple of times. Super frustrating but at least I finished the game.

I apologize for any troubles you encountered. Thank you for posting the extra information, and how you were able to resolve it for yourself! I hope you enjoy the game!

  • I finished the game. Amazing work! However I am trying to rewind the chapters so I can fill in my Book of Fables entries, but it wont load! I tried rewinding with a blank save and a previous slave, but it does the same thing? Any ideas?

I apologize for the inconvenience. You may need to delete the latest update. To do this: Go to your ‘Game Data Utility’ folder, find The Wolf Among Us, press Triangle, and delete the file. Then restart the game while connected to the internet, and download and install the latest update again, and you should be able to properly rewind to a previous episode.

You can also try switching to a different save slot, and starting that particular episode from the beginning.

  • This doesn't work for me, The Wolf Among Us is not listed anywhere in 'Game Data Utility'. I'm so fed up with this from TT games, but I love the stories so much. Looks like I'll just have to wait for the PS4 versions and hope that they actually work.

You can also try pressing Triangle on The Wolf Among Us game, and scroll down to 'Delete' and delete the game, then re-download and reinstall it from the Playstation Store, then make sure that when you are starting it for the first time, that you are connected to the internet, and logged into your PSN account, and download the latest update for the game, then load your game save and your issue should be resolved.

And woe friend ?! you say to do this, that, and stuff, but I bought this game, installed it here believing I could play it as well as played and had fun with other games in the franchise telltale, but asks you to do things which are uncertain, sometimes works for one and not for another person .... and there goes my problem is similar to the problems anteriorres (je notice that I changed the save slot, already reinstalled, even formatted my ps3 just imagine having q download more than 45 titles again, and finally, when I give the command to access the episode "X" or "Y", it freezes on loading my game already, I wonder what the telltale games will do to correct these defects all, besides the more, since they should have released a pack with fixes for these problems, or am I wrong? I am sincerely disappointed with the company telltale games for this reason ...
