Episode 3 freezing.

Ok I am trying another play through of the whole game but when I get to episode 3 it freezes right at the beginning. I've tried resetting and starting over and even reinstalled episode 3. No bueno!!! I'm not sure if I did it correctly because I didn't delete the origin before downloading again cuz the only way I know to delete the episode is by deleting the whole game. I would like to avoid that if possible. I am playing on original ps3 and any help will be appreciated.

    I apologize for the inconvenience. Can you please clarify if you are currently playing the latest version of the game? (Version 1.02 is the latest version.) To find out what version you are on, highlight the game from the Game menu on your XMB, and press Triangle. Then scroll down to Information, and press X, and you will see what version you are currently playing on. If you are on a version before 1.02, please try starting the game while connected to the internet, and make sure to download the latest update for the game.

    Hi Mike,
    I've had this same issue. i am playing on PS3, and the game freezes during the voiceover introduction as the camera is on Ichabod's nameplate. I have checked and my version is up to date (1.02). Any other ideas? Similar to Medic, I'd prefer to not have to start from the beginning again, but I'll give whatever you think a shot.

    My apologies, please try Restoring your PS3 File System & Database and see if you are then able to continue the Episode without this issue occurring.

    Thanks Mike, but no luck on my end. I did both steps that were mentioned in your link and still frozen.

    My apologies. Can you please clarify if you have tried deleting, and re-downloading/installing the game from the Playstation Store? If you haven't please try this, and make sure that you are connected to the internet when starting the game to ensure you are receiving the latest update for the game.

    Thanks Mike, this seems to have resolved things. I originally tried just jumping right to Chapter 3 to see if I could get past the part where I was getting locked up and it passed it without an issue. I saved the original game data to my PS+ account, I will try loading that tomorrow to see if it carries my save over and I can continue with my original game. Thanks again!
