CANNOT DOWN LOAD EPISODES!!!!

I installed season 2 on my Note 3. Not that it matters but I go through T-Mobile. Either way it shouldn't make a difference who my carrier is since the purchase isn't through them. I successfully purchased episode 2 but it won't allot me to download it. Every time I try it says "Network Unavailable" then continues to tell me to connect to the internet which I shouldn't have to. I did anyway and it still comes up with the same message after I've connected to my wifi. I never had this issue with season 1. If I had any kind of connection issue I wouldn't have been able to install the game or play episode 1. Can someone please help me?! I've purchased episodes 2, 3 and 4 and can't download any of the cuz of this weird "Network Unavailable" crap. I'm furious I paid for these and can't even play them! My carrier won't refund me, they tell me to contact Google and Google tells me to contact the manufacturer. So here I am.

  • I am having this very same problem on my Iphone. Each time I try to download Episode 3 it asks me to connect my device to the internet. (it is connected to the internet.)
    Please help.
    Thanks.

  • Same here. I can only assume it is a system wide problem.

    Telltale Games will probably suggest:

    Clearing your iPad's history;
    Turning it on and off again;
    Waiting a while;
    Taking your iPad off your wifi network and re-adding it
    Deleting the app and reinstalling (THIS WILL DELETE YOUR SAVE DATA)

    I have done all of these things and still cannot download

  • After a dozen attempts, ep3 has downloaded. Can only assume it is a server error.

  • good day
    same matter with episode 2, always "network unavailable" i've bought the season pass for nothing!! tried with different wifi spot, please help me.

    Please try closing all applications running in the background, and turn off your device for at least 5-10 minutes to allow the device's cache to clear. Then turn the device back on, and reset the WiFi settings by turning them Off, then back On again. Then start the game, and see if you are then able to successfully download Episode 2.

    Can you please clarify if you reset your device after the Episode successfully downloaded? You may need to close the app one more time, and reset your device in order to see the episode as available to play.

    I apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately it seems that your device's GPU does not meet the minimum system requirements to run the game successfully. Where we require a minimum GPU of an PowerVR SGX540 or equivalent, your device is currently using a PowerVR SGX531 GPU. I recommend either playing the game on a device above the minimum system requirements, or contacting Google Play Support for further assistance, or any refund requests.

  • Ont correct why could i play ep 1?

  • TelltaleMikeTelltaleMike Former Telltale Staff

    While you may be able to play an episode, other episodes that are more graphically intensive, and demand more power from the GPU may not function successfully. I recommend force closing all apps running in the background, and resetting your device, then see if you are able to successfully play. Unfortunately if you are still unable to play, I recommend contacting Google Play Support to see if they have any other suggestions.

    My apologies. Please try turning off your device for 5-10 minutes to clear the device's cache. Then start the device back up, and reset the WiFi settings by turning your WiFi on your device Off, and back On again. Then after you're connected, see if your connection with our servers is stronger, and allows you to download the episode successfully.

    If you are still experiencing the issue, please also try connecting to a different WiFi network, and see if you are then able to download the episodes.

    I apologize for any difficulties this has caused you, unfortunately other than clearing your device's cache, and trying a different WiFi network, to see if your connection with our servers is better, I am out of potential solutions. I recommend trying to play on another Android device if you have the option, or contacting Google Play Support for a refund.

    I have the exact same problem. After struggling with the network unavailable error, i managed to download episode 4 up to 100%, then when i pressed install, it said that installing it would bring me back to main menu. It did but when i checked on PLAY, it still said Download Episode. I tried restarting my device but it still said download episode. I've also tried numerous internet connections, and never had a problem like this with Season 1. I think this is a bug that YOU GUYS should look into ASAP??

    I apologize for any difficulties this has caused you. Unfortunately my only other recommendation would be to delete the individual episode and re-download it. To delete individual episodes, open the app, and at the main menu, select Help & Options. Then select Manage Downloads, and in that menu you will be able to select the episode you wish to delete, and tap the Delete button. Then re-download and install the episode, and you should be able to play successfully. You may need to try another WiFi network in order to receive a better connection with our servers.

    My apologies, below are a few possible solutions to resolve the issue:

    1) Force Close the game application, and restart it.

    2) Make sure to have WiFi On and connected to the internet when starting the game application

    3) Make sure In-app purchases is enabled for the profile.

    4) Delete & re-download the app

    5) Follow the purchase path to purchase the item again, and Instead of charging you again, Google Play should restore the previous purchase and it should unlock successfully.
