Can't pick up medical notes

Hi all,
I'm on episode 4, chapter 5 and I need to get the medical supplies. Tried everything and was getting really annoyed so I looked at the walk through. It said I need to pick up the medical notes where the tape for the camcorder is. When I click on the medical notes it doesn't let me do anything. It just says medical notes. No icons under it where you can pick them up. I've clicked on everything in the room and spoken to both Vernon and Crista, I can't have a conversation with either of them now as I've spoken to them about everything. Is there an issue with the game or am I doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

    I apologize for the inconvenience. If you have watched a video walkthrough on how to complete that part of the episode, and you are unable to complete that particular section, I recommend rewinding to the last chapter/checkpoint in the episode before the issue started, and then play through the episode again, and see if you are then able to complete that particular part.
