Episodes 4 & 5 for Kindle
Is there STILL no news? I bought this season pass thinking that Telltale would release the Kindle versions within a reasonable timeframe. It's kind of messed up that Kindle Season Pass owners are still having to wait for episode 4, with no news in the foreseeable future, when it was released 2 months ago for everyone else. If Telltale doesn't care about their Kindle customers, who paid good money for Season Passes, then they ought to include that fact within their FAQ. I didn't know that Kindle was going to be treated like the red-headed stepchild of Telltale. I would have just bought the PC version instead. Please, Telltale Mike, I know this is not your fault, but if there's anyway you can pass on these frustrations to people who are responsible and ask them to communicate with their Kindle customers, I'd really appreciate it. It's like we don't even exist or something because we're a minority of the customer base. I would hope that TTG would treat all their customers with equal consideration and attention. All I'm asking for is some communication. I apologize if I'm bothering you because I know that you're not responsible personally, TTMike. I just want to know when the product I paid for will be available, since everyone else who purchased it has already received their copies. Thank you.

I purchased TWAU on Kindle thinking i could carry it around with me to play, now im stuck wiating for the next two espisodes everyone else has already played. I would really appriciate knowing some sort of time frame!
You made this comment almost a month ago, and STILL no word. This is so frustrating, it's almost becoming comical. I have to laugh or else I'd lose my temper, call Telltale customer service, and give them a serious piece of my mind. Episode 4 came out May 29th for Apple users. It's August 20th today, so that makes us THREE MONTHS behind everyone else. This is pure BS. If Telltale had any integrity, they'd give us some of our money back for having to wait so f-ing long.
I am extremely upset about this. I came on here thinking maybe something was wrong with my kindle and that's why I was unable to download the episodes, but low and behold, I was wrong. I think it's a little ridiculous that we have to wait months for an episode when every single other device has them out already. If I'd known this was going to happen, I would have never purchased the season pass. What the hell, TTG???
I just changed my Amazon review for this game. I had given it 5 stars, but I just changed it to 1 star. That might not count for much, but my review is the "Most Helpful" of all the reviews for the App version of this game, which means that it's the first one people see when they look at the reviews for it. Hopefully, I will have helped prevent some other people from making the same mistake we did. When Telltale chooses to either give us what we paid for or communicate with us, I will change it back to the 5 stars that I initially gave it.
Thread: October 2014: STILL no Episodes 4 and 5 for Kindle
Well, it's October now and still no episodes for Kindle customers. Not only that, no word from Telltale either. Considering Episode 4 came out for EVERY other platform way back in May, I think it's safe to assume that Telltale has taken our money and run, right? I mean, normally when I give a company my money and they say that they will furnish me with a product "soon", it normally doesn't take about half a year. On what planet does "soon" mean a half of a frickin' year? Especially for episodic releases? I'm under the distinct impression that Telltale just doesn't care because they conned us out of our money already. Shit, you guys have released the rest of the The Walking Dead, TWD Pinball game, and seem super-motivated about developing/promoting two new projects (GoT and TFTB) and yet can't find the time to give Kindle players what they paid for almost HALF A YEAR AGO. That's just downright unethical. I could never accept someone's money, promise them that I will deliver a product "soon" and then not only fail to do so, but ignore their calls for almost HALF A YEAR. I would feel terrible about doing such a thing because it's WRONG and I have principles. This entire experience has completely soured me to this company. I will never buy another Telltale game again in my life. I'll give my business to developers who don't take my money, fail to give me what I pay for, and ignore me for months at a time. I'd never thought I'd say this, but I have more respect for EA as a company than Telltale. At least EA gives me what I paid for, even if it is overpriced and broken. It's still SOMETHING. At least EA has a decent customer support that has given me in-game credits for inconveniencing me. Thanks for nothing, Telltale. I've never had my respect for a company be so high and then fall so far in my life.
