Touch Screen Icons

in The Walking Dead - Season 2 - Vita Support

I've started episode 4 and possibly turned into a walker as I can't remember what all of the touch screen icons mean. I'm trying to open the tent which doesn't sound like a complicated process but so far it has me stumped. I press on the circle and then a hand in a closing box icon appears at the bottom of the screen. I've tried all manner of interactions with that and I cannot work out what it is expecting of me. I can't see anything in the manual for it either. Can someone please put me out of my misery?

    I apologize for the inconvenience. In order to complete that specific quick time event. You will need to select, and hold down the interaction button, and when the arrow shows up, keep holding the first button, then press the Analog Stick in the direction of the arrow, and you should be able to complete the quick-time event.
