I'm siding with patters on this one.

Just try to ignore him, everyone. Ignore Lucoshi and he'll go away.

    Aw, that's not nice. :(

We don't have any plans at the moment to bring Wallace & Gromit to WiiWare. But it is great to see all of the requests! (Along with PSN.) As Dan confirmed in this interview, bringing Wallace & Gromit to XBLA is really just the next step in our migration to, hopefully, all of the consoles. So don't worry, we haven't abandoned the Wii!

So this is just step one of your plan of world domination?

And sorry about the mean comment. I can get annoyed with people pretty easily.

I see this coming as a retail disc for Wii. So, not to worry, user who has suggested this number #431!

    Oh, you haven't?
    Okay.

    *pulls out walkie-talkie*

Okay, deactivate the bomb. Looks like is still might happen!

i reckon if a wii version is released it would be like the sam and max wii versions, dependant on if the wii can handle it well, i love the wii but i reckon the telltale tool may need to be optimised for it further on the wii with the bugs in sam and max season 1

No way  is just a suggestion

No it isn't a horrible name for a thread! I think it is VERY creative!! Think about it: it's not WALLace and Gromit, but WIIllace and Gromit, because it's about them on the Wii! That is creativity GOLD! You're all just jealous that you can't make up stuff like this.

    Yes, I'm being sarcastic.

So he put the knife in my mouth, like this, and... Why so serious?

And then we had pot pies, and then he tucked me in. The end.

Wow, these kinds of threads derail from the actual idea fairly quickly, don't they?

    Nonsence.

So, anybody wanna play some "Phantom"?

Okay, okay. Let's get back on topic. :)

The majority of the conversations here usually turn into a Dark Knight thread at one point or another.

I can see Wallace and Gromit on the Wii. It's their kind of console. Just not on WiiWare, I guess.
  • edited March 2009
So is this just step one of Telltale's plot for full-scale global domination?

    Isn't Aaron Eckhart amazing?
  • edited March 2009
Yes, especially in that awesome Two-Face makeup. ;)
  • edited March 2009
What? I was convinced the game would be made available on Wiiware at release.
And after a quick Google check, lots of gaming sites still tell as much.

Was there a change of plans or is there a misunderstanding here?
  • edited March 2009
No, the games' specs are too much for the WiiWare service.

    edited March 2009
That was a misunderstanding. We love Nintendo and we'll be back on WiiWare soon enough, but XBLA will be the only console for Wallace & Gromit episodes.

    can someone say "strongbad"?

On a related note, the control scheme used in W&G would be a great fit for the remote+nunchuk combo. Incorporating nunchuk-based direct control (as an option, preferably) would be a nice addition to any future Telltale products on Wii :)

Agree fully, but it doesn't work quite so well on the PC.
