Black Screen At Menu?

Is anyone else having this problem? It's worked fine all week, even this morning, but as of 12 PM EST I can't even get into the menu.

  • Yes I have tried starting the game up on my Xbox but the screen goes dark after the title screen and nothing happens. Other people who are playing on PC, Mac, and PS3 are having similar situations. We just have to wait and see what Telltale has to say about this, because I really hope I don't have to repurchase it.

  • Yeah, I'm on PC and the Steam community has been commenting about it in the forums, so it's definitely something on Telltales' end. You definitely won't have to re-purchase anything, I know that for sure. Most likely a server issue.

  • I recently bought The Wolf Among Us for Mac and wanted to play it, but after "Click to Continue" the screen turns black and the background music stops playing. I've been trying to fix it for an hour but nothing I could think of worked...

  • Same thing is happening to everyone, it seems. Like Shubba said, we just have to wait for a statement from Telltale, since this sort of just hit everyone across all platforms today around the same time.

    They are currently looking into this issue, keep an eye on this thread as TelltaleMike will update it when he gets more information about what could be causing the problem.

  • TelltaleMike just released that the problem is supposed to be solved. He told everyone to shut down your device completely (whether PC, Mac, ios, Android, Xbox, or PS) and restart it and the problem should be fixed.
