Clem in shed
I've tried for 3 days to use the hammer to pry out the board through which Clem can escape. I can click fast and build up her energy, but the E never appears in the energy circle. Instead i get a red splatter above the circle and a loud clang. I've tried building up less strength and it doesn't help. Poor Clem is gonna die in that shed, bless her heart. Can anyone help? I'm using iOS on my iPad Air.

Please close the game and all other applications running in the background. This should free up necessary system resources. (To close an app running in the background on iOS 6 and before: double tap the home button to make all running apps appear at the bottom of the screen, hold down on an app you wish to close and red buttons will appear, tap the red buttons to close the apps. If on iOS 7, double tap the home button and swipe up on the open apps to close them) Also, please turn off your iOS device for at least three minutes before attempting to play the game again. This will allow the device’s cache to clear.
Then after restarting your device, please reset the WiFi by turning the WiFi Settings Off, and back On again. Then try starting the game application again, and load the scene. Then try completing the process again, and after you fill the meter, you should be presented with the icon to complete the Quick-Time Event. If you are still unable to complete the process, please try rewinding to the chapter/checkpoint before the part in the shed, and replay up to that scene again, and see if you are then able to complete the event.
Thank you, TelltaleMike. I did all the above and still didn't get the icon. I also deleted apps I don't use from the iPad. Clem's still stuck in the shed.
I apologize for my confusion. On that particular part, after you completely fill the circle, a red 'Up' arrow will appear. You will need to swipe up on the screen, and then tap on the piece of wood, and you should then be able to continue. My apologies for any difficulties this has caused you.
