Fables You Weren't Familiar With
Which (if any) Fables did you not know of before playing the game or reading the comics? For me, it was Bluebeard, Donkeyskin, Dr. Swineheart, Clever Hans, and Aunty Greenleaf.

For me, the only ones that had question marks above their heads, were Aunty Greenleaf and Donkeyskin. The only one that I had forgotten and had to look up to refresh my memory, was Georgie Porgie.
These are the ones I learned:
-Donkeyskin
-The Three Army Surgeons
-Beowulf
-Georgie Porgie
-Rub-a-dub-dub
My favorite of these was Rub-a-dub-dub
Rub-a-dub-dub,
Three men in a tub,
And who do you think they were?
The butcher, the baker,
The candlestick-maker,
They all sailed out to sea,
'Twas enough to make a man stare.
You know, I never quite understood the nursery rhyme.
Auntie Greenleaf was the one that stumped me. I had read/heard of the others.
An early version of the rhyme (14th century) goes like this:
Hey, rub-a-dub, ho, rub-a-dub, three maids in a tub. And who do you think were there?
The butcher, the baker, the candlestick maker, and all of them going to the fair.
So, basically in early versions it was a silly rhyme about 3 respectable tradesmen watching something akin to a peepshow at a fair. When "maids" was changed to "men" I don't know. That's what I've always heard, anyhow.

I liked to read fairy tales so Aunty Greenleaf is the only one I wasnt familiar with.
Honestly the ones I've heard of were Snow, Bigby, Nerissa, Cryer, Bloody Mary, Jack, Colin, & Crane. Everyone else was new to me or vaguely remember.
For me, the ones i didn't know the stories of was Auntie Greenleaf, Faith, Jersey Devil, Crooked Man, Crane, Bluebeard, Gren, Holly, Hans, and Georgie
Georgie Porgie. I was so confused when he showed up, and they never explained his origin save for that he was a pimp. For the life of me I could not figure out which fable had a pimp in it, so I finally had to look it up on Google. I was waayy off lol.

Jersey Devil, Auntie Greenleaf and Georgie Porgie.
