Downloaded S2 Episodes Issues

I recently purchased a S2 pass and I kept on trying to download the 1st episode however whenever I would enter the game it would show that none are downloaded. After a while I managed to "download" episodes 1-4 and although it shows that it has nearly 2 GB of stored data when I enter the game it still only shows that I must download all the episodes. And whenever I try to play the game it brings me to the game even though I downloaded the episode 1 unlock key. I would really appreciate help with this annoying problem.

I apologize for the inconvenience. Episode 1 is included in the Demo, and purchasing the Season Pass, and downloading and installing the Unlock Key, unlocks it into the Full Game version. After doing this, you can start the game while connected to the internet and logged into your PSN profile, and make sure to download and install the latest update available for the game, which will make Episodes 2-5 available to download from within the game. Once the game starts, you can then go to the Episodes Menu from inside the game, and download and install the rest of the episodes.

  • Hi Mike, unfortunately I have tried this multiple times but whenever I open the demo after I download the unlock key it still shows "Download" for episode 1.

I apologize for the inconvenience. It sounds like you may have received an incomplete download of the base game. I recommend deleting and re-downloading the demo, and see if that resolves your issue. If not, you can also try deleting the game data utility for the game, and then start the game while connected to the internet to make sure you have downloaded and installed the latest update for the game

My apologies, the downloaded game data will be in the Game Data Utility menu, which is near Save Data Utility. You can find the process of removing PS3 Game Data Utility by following the steps in This Article.

Please try scrolling up above the Save Data Utility in the Game section of the XMB (The section with the controller), up until you reach the Game Data Utility folder. Open that folder, and you will find your downloaded content. Then find The Walking Dead: Season Two, and press Triangle on it. Then scroll down to Delete and press X. You should then be able to re-download the game and unlock key from the Playstation Store.

Can you please clarify what region/country you are currently residing in, and if you purchased and downloaded the Season Pass from your region's store or from another region store? (NA: North America vs. EU: Europe)

Can you please clarify if you've downloaded and installed both the Demo, and the Unlock Key to unlock the full game?
