Black Screen like many before me

I have had no problems with any episode of either season until now.. Season 2 ep 5. You can understand my emotional investment in the story at this point, and to not be able to access episode 5 is becoming extremely frustrating. Here's what happened.

Go to xbox dashboard (online obviously)
Launch season 2 from the my "my games" tab
Download content
wait
I am now prompted to install content
I accept
Taken to black screen where my xbox freezes after about 3-5 minutes
Now I cannot access the game at all
After pressing start I am taken to black screen where it does nothing until my xbox freezes or nothing at all. (waited over 30 minutes the 1st time)

What now?

    Please try deleting the Episode from your console, and re-download it from the Xbox Marketplace. To delete an individual episode, please follow these steps:

    Deleting:

    • Hit the Xbox Guide Button in the Middle of your Controller
    • Go as far to the right as you can
    • Scroll down and click on System Settings
    • Scroll down and click on Storage
    • Click your HardDrive/Memory Card (Wherever the DLC is Saved on)
    • Click on Games and Apps
    • Scroll down and find the game you want to delete the DLC for and click on the game
    • A list of all your saves, DLC, etc will show up, find the DLC/Episode you want and click it
    • Now scroll down and click Delete

    To Re-Download:

    • Go to the Game Marketplace
    • Go the game you want to re-download the DLC for
    • Click Download Again for the DLC (The Episode should say ‘Free’ next to it)
