Objects not appearing and some textures not loading.

I just recently purchased WD S2, and when I started playing it, I noticed something was off. In the first scene in the bathroom, when you are looking around the stalls, behind one of the toilets, instead of a texture (poster or broken wall or something I presume) It was a multicolored square of pixels. Beyond that, when I get to the campfire scene, I presume Clementine is supposed to be sitting on a log, but there is no log at all. She removes her backpack from the space where I presume the log to be and when she pulls out the items, the drawing doesn't appear. Also, the animal on the spit is entirely black. I don't know if thats intended or not. I have not played farther than that scene as it was quite frustrating, as I don't know what else I might miss out on.

Also, as I appeared to post this in the general wds2 forum and not the pc one, I bought it via steam, and here is the support tool link thingy: https://www.sendspace.com/file/21sm0p

I apologize for the inconvenience. Please try starting the game again, and when you see the graphical issue, please try switching the game to Windowed Mode using the shortcut (Alt+Enter for PC, Command+F for Mac) and see if you are then able to see the game correctly. If so, please then try changing the game's resolution and graphics settings to a lower setting, and click Apply. Then try switching back to Full Screen Mode by using the same shortcut, and your issue should then be resolved.

  • I tried what you suggested, and it did not fix my issue. I have taken a screenshot of what is occuring. http://imgur.com/HOXB9Y3

I apologize for the inconvenience. I recommend deleting and reinstalling the game from your computer by using the Delete Local Content button in Steam. Please right click the game in your Steam Library, and click Delete Local Content. Then also delete the game's file directory folder named 'The Wolf Among Us' in Users/YOURNAME/Documents/Telltale Games/ before reinstalling the game. Then restart the game, and see if your issue is resolved.

  • Ok, so far that seems to have worked. The objects that weren't loading before are there now. Thank you.
