Episode 5 - Blank download screen
Last night I tried to download Episode 5 (I prepaid for the Multipack) and the download got to 100%, then froze.
I shut down the app, restarted my iPad and went back to try again, but now when I try to download, I just get the "Downloading" screen but with no text or status as to what's going on.
Help! How can I fix this so I can play episode 5 and not lose my save files?

Can you please clarify if Episode 5 says Installed or Get next to the episode? If you can, you can also go to the Help & Options menu, then go to Manage Downloads, and tap Episode 5, and if it shows as installed there, try deleting it, and re-download it again.
Please also close the game and all other applications running in the background. This should free up necessary system resources. (To close an app running in the background on iOS 6 and before: double tap the home button to make all running apps appear at the bottom of the screen, hold down on an app you wish to close and red buttons will appear, tap the red buttons to close the apps. If on iOS 7, double tap the home button and swipe up on the open apps to close them) Also, please turn off your iOS device for at least three minutes before attempting to play the game again. This will allow the device’s cache to clear.
Then after restarting your device, please reset the WiFi by turning the WiFi Settings Off, and back On again. Then try starting the game application again, and see if you are able to download and play the episode successfully.
Hi Mike - thanks for the tips. I tried all of those things and I'm still getting the problem though. Here are screenshots of what I'm seeing, even after closing all other apps, turning off my iPad for 3 mins, resetting the wifi etc :

My apologies, unfortunately I am out of potential solutions. I recommend try connecting to a different WiFi network, and see if that connection is stronger with our servers, and allows you to successfully download Episode 5.
So... if I have to delete the game and re-install.... is there a way to export my save files?
The save files are stored internally within the game application. Deleting the app will delete the save files along with it. Unfortunately save files on iOS devices cannot be exported from the game application itself.
That's a bummer... and seems like a feature that maybe should be included?
It'll be a bit frustrating to have to start the whole game over again from the beginning of Season 2.
