I had this same exact glitch after the battery and got it show the cut scene by rewinding and letting Lee fall and die when jumping off the roof instead of grabbing Molly's hand, then after it re-genned me to make the jump again I grabbed her hand and it played the cut scene. This was my 4th rewind so not sure if letting Lee die first was the difference maker, but it was the only thing I did different. Hope this helps!
I just tried again, this time telling Clem to stay behind at the house while we go to Crawford since I always brought her with me in all my … moreother attempts. The outcome was the same though. Still can't get the scene with Molly leaving with the backpack to occur and I'm unable to progress.
I'm going to try this. This is interesting because the first time I played the game, I fell and missed her hand. That was the playthrough where it locked up at the nurse's station. I'll report back after I try this and see if this works.
EDIT: It worked! It triggered the scene where Molly leaves with the battery. Now to see if I can get past the nurses' station.
EDIT 2: It let me re-enter the nurses' station! I've never gotten this far! You're a life saver.

Please make a patch for the game, Im on ps4...finding the same glitch many others are having where after making the jump from roof the cutscene does not trigger where molly leaves with the battery, I just appear in the school and her and ben are standing in hall. No way to progress as the walkers dont come with their cutscene. Ive rewound a chapter, then tried rewinding two chapters and even 3 chapters. I may be willing to play the whole episode but thats a joke, nobody should have to do that and there's no proof that will make it progress anyways
I have bought this game on ps3, ps vita and now ps4, please fix this, its a pretty major bug. A so called work around of just replaying and replaying HOPING it will progress is NO soloution!

I was having the same issue as well. After finishing the mission where you get the battery with Molly there was no cut scene and I appeared in the school again. Molly and Ben were just standing in the hallway near the bathroom and Brie and Kenny were just outside the double doors. Christa and Vernon were also still by the nurses office trying to get in. I could wander around the halls but the game wouldn't go any further. I checked this forum and the rewound the episode to the point where the whole crew is in the sewer about to enter Crawford. This time the mission with Molly went fine and the cut scene did happen after it was over. From that point in I had no issues and was able to complete the game. I have bought this game on several platforms including Ps4, psvita, PS3, and the iPad. This was the first time I had ever had an issue with the game. I also bought the game digitally this time through the PSN so I doubt I would have been able to request a refund. I enjoy the game very much and do feel that this was an easy workaround but the average user probably isn't going to find it. It will hopefully get patched soon

My apologies. We have received reports from other players that playing through the episode, and letting Lee die during the rooftop jump scene, then reloading the last checkpoint, allowed them to continue progressing through the episode successfully. I recommend try doing this, and see if you are able to progress farther in the episode.

I have just tried the previous checkpoint, and when Lee tells everyone to get into the school cause they realize that Crawford is full of Walker the cut scene after this is not showing, also in addition to this when trying to go into the alley where the car battery is, it jumps back to the cut scene where they are coming through the manhole into Crawford. Obviously something is wrong, please fix, I bought Season 1 and 2 together several months ago and don't want to carry on as I want to let decisions carry over

I'm on episode 4 as well, and didn't run into any problems until the beginning of Chapter 5. I know i'm playing all the sequences correctly(I've only played TWD season's 1 & 2 several times on Xbox 360).
Chapter 5:Welcome to Georgia's Last City- Lee & the group enter school from the sewers. My game skips the very first conversation the group has about WTF's going on @ Crawford school, and loads up with everyone standing in the classroom aka "the command center". I was able to reload that scene & it fixed the issue.
Chapter 5: Medicine- Lee gets the items inside the locker, I had to the Nursing room & the game will not let me open the door. So I can not progress the story.
P.S.= I've reloaded the chapters over and over and still nothing, cannot get into the nurses office to watch the final video etc

I've seen quite a lot of your answers around on the forums, concerning the Crawford glitches in episode 4, I have literally tried all of them. Maybe its time you guys actually update the game and patch the problems. I skipped ahead to episode 5, and have finished the game without learning the pivotal events of episode 4. The game is brilliant, a great purchase. Its just that my money doesn't exactly grow on tree's and this problem is not getting sorted out as soon as it should have been. So please!
I recommend watching a video walkthrough of how to complete that particular part of the game, and make sure you are completing the proper st… moreeps to progress the storyline. If you are completing the steps successfully and you are still unable to progress, please also try rewinding to the chapter/checkpoint before your current chapter, and replay through the scene again, and see if you are then able to progress successfully.

I just encountered a variation of this glitch (on Xbox One) where when I first left the classroom HQ, Ben would be standing outside by the double door exit... and he was also inside the HQ working on the armory door. Molly was standing next to the restroom, and Kenny and Brie were both standing outside the double doors. None of them were interactable except Ben inside the HQ, where he was supposed to be. It was incredibly eerie. I was tasked with going to the auto body garage to get the battery with Molly. When I completed that part and made the leap of faith across the rooftops, the game immediately spawned me back inside the hallway, in front of the HQ doors and no further progress could be made. I quit to main menu, reloaded my game (without rewinding) and had the rooftop leap of faith as a checkpoint. This time, upon completion, a small cutscene with Molly occurred and when I regained control, an event happened and the game progressed. Hopefully this helps someone.
I honestly can not believe how disappointed I am to have wasted half a day trying to get past the man hole glitch. Even more disappointed to come on here thinking I would get answers only to read that we are all being told "rewind" WTF. WE ARE ALL PAYING FOR A GAME THAT HAD BEEN RELEASED BROKEN! Then to be told to rewind and they can't be bothered to make an update. I feel completely let down.

Guys, I experienced this problems and these are the steps I did to resolve it.
I went back to the beginning of the chapter and replayed it with no luck still.
I then, copied my save file to a new slow and replayed it again and it started working. I haven't read anywhere that suggests copying the save to a new slot so might be worth trying as it worked for me
I too am experiencing this glitch. I have restarted the chapter twice and both times when I stomp on the docs head and attempt to return to the nurses station there is no action for me to take. I have watched the walk through and have done everything in the correct order. If this is a known issue then why hasn't it been fixed? You'd think with the amount of people that have mentioned this issue to you guys, you'd have patched it.

Hello everyone!
At season 1 episode 4 i find two bugs at crawford location. And now i try to publicate solutions.
1) after killing zombie near Crawford building all characters goes to building. after loading Lee appears near classrom door, that locate in front of him. so YOU HAVE TO GO AT CLASSROOM AT FIRST! If you dont do that, and go throw corridor to the street, game is looping and first bug appers. all characters at canalization again, and then Lee cannt open canalization hatch. so YOU HAVE TO GO AT CLASSROOM AT FIRST!
2) second bug is on the roof. after jumping with Molly, should play videoscene, where Lee and Molly talking. but selecting any of the talking option before the jump, second bug appers, videoscene not playing. solution is next: after this second bug appears YOU SHOULD GO TO THE MAIN MENU AND REPLAY THE SCENE. Lee appears at the roof again. i dont know, working another options at talking between Mooly and Lee before jump, but i choose ..., and then all goes normal. so
a) waiting for second bug appering
b) goes to main menu and replay the scene
c) choose ... at the talking
I am having the same problem as well. I was playing for a while from the beginning of episode four and when I came to the scene immediately … morefollowing getting the battery, characters are standing in the hallway as ghosts with no interactions available specifically Molly and Brian and when I go back to the classroom nothing has changed. Back to the hallway again still same issue I can't proceed anywhere.cant help Kenny,can't help with the nurses station either I tried restarting the episode,rewinding restarting checkpoint nothing, still same issue

Oof, glad there is a workaround, but so disappointed in this glitch. One of the hallmarks for many of playing a point-and-click adventure game is seeing how far one can get without having to resort to a walkthrough. I spent longer than desired looking for that one thing I was missing in the school to progress, only to resign myself to seek help, assuming I was simply not competent to figure out how to progress.
But instead it's a 10 month old glitch? Sigh.
Seriously, Telltale has done an amazing job with their games, and I understand there are financial reasons why one cannot easily send patches, but still. Sigh....
Ok guys, here is the fix for Chapter 4, Crawford. After you climb up the sewer, kill the walker in the street and head in the school for cover. ( i think this is where the glitch happens) I believe there should now be a scene with the group in the classroom but instead the game carries on with you alone in the hall. This is where you now open the door to the classroom and now THIS will trigger the cut scene, you will have the team discussion and delegation of tasks for everybody; who is getting battery/ gas/ medicine etc. Now game play resumes, you exit the classroom to find the battery with Molly. In my scene Molly wasn't outside the classroom to take us to the garage. (That happened later ) head down the hall, turn right and left again and exit the door. Now instead of looping back to the group climbing the sewer, you exit the school and the chapter continues normally. You are welcome : D

Even more disappointed to come on here thinking I would get answers only to read that we are all being told "rewind" WTF. WE ARE ALL PAYING FOR A GAME THAT HAD BEEN RELEASED BROKEN! Then to be told to rewind and they can't be bothered to make an update. I feel completely let down.
My apologies for any difficulties this has caused. Unfortunately at this time, we have not announced any plans to update The Walking Dead: Season One. If you are currently experiencing this issue, the known workaround is to rewind to the chapter/checkpoint before you experienced this issue, then try the quoted steps below:
Guys, I experienced this problems and these are the steps I did to resolve it.
I went back to the beginning of the chapter and replayed it with no luck still.
I then, copied my save file to a new slow and replayed it again and it started working. I haven't read anywhere that suggests copying the save to a new slot so might be worth trying as it worked for me
I too am experiencing this glitch. I have restarted the chapter twice and both times when I stomp on the docs head and attempt to return to the nurses station there is no action for me to take. I have watched the walk through and have done everything in the correct order. If this is a known issue then why hasn't it been fixed? You'd think with the amount of people that have mentioned this issue to you guys, you'd have patched it.

At season 1 episode 4 i find two bugs at crawford location. And now i try to publicate solutions.
1) after killing zombie near Crawford building all characters goes to building. after loading Lee appears near classrom door, that locate in front of him. so YOU HAVE TO GO AT CLASSROOM AT FIRST! If you dont do that, and go throw corridor to the street, game is looping and first bug appers. all characters at canalization again, and then Lee cannt open canalization hatch. so YOU HAVE TO GO AT CLASSROOM AT FIRST!
2) second bug is on the roof. after jumping with Molly, should play videoscene, where Lee and Molly talking. but selecting any of the talking option before the jump, second bug appers, videoscene not playing. solution is next: after this second bug appears YOU SHOULD GO TO THE MAIN MENU AND REPLAY THE SCENE. Lee appears at the roof again. i dont know, working another options at talking between Mooly and Lee before jump, but i choose ..., and then all goes normal. so
a) waiting for second bug appering
b) goes to main menu and replay the scene
c) choose ... at the talking

Oof, glad there is a workaround, but so disappointed in this glitch. One of the hallmarks for many of playing a point-and-click adventure game is seeing how far one can get without having to resort to a walkthrough. I spent longer than desired looking for that one thing I was missing in the school to progress, only to resign myself to seek help, assuming I was simply not competent to figure out how to progress.
But instead it's a 10 month old glitch? Sigh.
Seriously, Telltale has done an amazing job with their games, and I understand there are financial reasons why one cannot easily send patches, but still. Sigh....
Ok guys, here is the fix for Chapter 4, Crawford. After you climb up the sewer, kill the walker in the street and head in the school for cover. ( i think this is where the glitch happens) I believe there should now be a scene with the group in the classroom but instead the game carries on with you alone in the hall. This is where you now open the door to the classroom and now THIS will trigger the cut scene, you will have the team discussion and delegation of tasks for everybody; who is getting battery/ gas/ medicine etc. Now game play resumes, you exit the classroom to find the battery with Molly. In my scene Molly wasn't outside the classroom to take us to the garage. (That happened later ) head down the hall, turn right and left again and exit the door. Now instead of looping back to the group climbing the sewer, you exit the school and the chapter continues normally. You are welcome : D
