Unable to find a save (PS4)

Hey guys I recent bought The Walking Dead Season 1 and 2 again on PS4 this time...
Now I just finished Season One a few days ago I wanted to start season 2 but it cant find the previous save file from Season 1.

I searched on a few forums and actualy this issue was very comon when you released the game on PS3... but you patched it on the 7th gen consoles.
But I gues you have to patch it on the 8th gen aswell.

I apologize for the inconvenience. We are currently looking into the root cause of the issue, and hope to have a resolution soon. Can you please clarify what country/region you are currently residing in? Also can you please clarify if you have the digital download, or physical disc version of the games?

  • Same problem here, can't find the season 1 save file. I live in Europe (Sweden).

We are currently looking into the issue where some players are unable to import their Season One saves into Season Two, and hope to have a resolution/update soon. I will make sure to update the forums when I have any new information or an update on the issue.

  • Its doesn't work on digital versions either.

Seems like the problem is the save files themselves.

  • similar problem here but season 1, episode 3 can't find save file from episode 2. so i only could go on without my decisions. nice !!! i got the disc and i live in europe(germany)

  • When will it be patched???

I apologize for the delayed response. We have had a few players report that they receive the 'Choices will be randomized' alert, but then when they continue the game, their save choices are successfully carried over. I recommend try continuing the story, and see if your choices are properly carried over, even though the message pops up.

  • I purchased the digital copy of season 1 when it came out for the PS3, i now have a PS4 and bought the digital copy of season 2. i don't see the saved data on cloud. When i load the digital version of season 2, it says its importing my choices from season 1, but error code comes up saying it can't find them. Very annoying. Is there a way to get my choices from season 1 from the PS3 to the PS4????? This is retarded. You guys were supposed to be "working on a fix", its now almost december and this is still an issue. My region is North American.

My apologies, the fix that was released recently was to resolve an issue where people playing Season One and Two on PS4 were unable to import their saves. Save files from PS3 are unfortunately incompatible with the PS4 version of Season Two.
