Wow! MI 5 is here... what about Special Edition?
Wow! 2009 E3 has brought us Monkey Island 5 along with Monkey Island Special Edition. Even though I am not surprised (ah ah! Voodoo Lady already told us that there would have been another episode after all), I am eager to know if Special Edition is available at Telltale Games shop or not.
Please TTG answer my question. Needless to say, congrats guys you did it!
After MI 5 ends, let's create your own brand (possibly a more serious one like Full Throttle)!

I'm pretty sure they just meant that the game starts off in the middle of the action, wrapping up some unseen story that took place before the events of the game. Kind of like Spielberg has described the prologues of the Indiana Jones movies as being the tail ends of some previous, unknown Indy movie. CMI and EMI started in similar ways.
2) Of course I know MI = Monkey Island, hell, I was probably playing it before you were even conceived.
Thank you! THAT is the answer I was looking for.
Ok but what about my question? Are you going to sell Special Edition too? I want to give my money only to Telltale store not Steam or anything else. You are the good guys
Telltale is not making the Special Edition so you can't buy it from them. It's a direct download from LucasArts on the PC and/or X-Box live.
LucasArts has never released a game in digital delivery format, so I highly doubt MI Special Edition is going to be available from their site. I wish LucasArts released this game on TTG platform too. Who knows ?

It says right at the bottom of the official page:
"PC Digital Download"
I knew you was wrong. Come on, LucasArts has never ever released anything via digital download on its website.
Now TTG should tell us if we can download MI Special Edition from its store or not.
I don't want to buy anything from Steam.
It's not a Telltale game, so it's not going to show up in the Telltale store.
The press release mentions that it will be available "on Xbox LIVE Arcade for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, and PC via Steam and other online distribution channels", so probably there will be some alternatives to Steam (no, I don't mean the Telltale store, probably something like Direct2Drive, who are also selling ToMI, etc.)
I included the "for PC" because of the Xbox stuff. I did forget about the "other online distribution channels" on the press release, but the main point is that it won't be available from Telltale, since it isn't their game.
