Crashes During Beginning of Episode 2

The game consistently crashes during the beginning of episode 2, when your choices made during episode 1 are being recapped. I have made it through varying lengths of the recap but have still not been able to make it to any gameplay-the game crashes before recap is finished. I am playing on an Asus Transformer TF101 with Android 4.0.3 installed. I have gone through all the previous troubleshooting mesures (i.e. reinstalling, clearing cache, restarting tablet...ect). Plese help

Unfortunately as your Android device is using a ULP GeForce GPU, and that particular GPU is not an officially supported Android processor to run the game, your device may perform poorly. I recommend either playing on an Android device above minimum requirements, or contacting Google Play Support for a refund request.

  • Hi,
I have the same problem on a Galaxy Tab 10" GT-P7500 (android 4.2.2).
The season 2 doesn't start. the game crash during the recap.
So, I am sad to do that because I really like the game, but I will ask a refund.
Google Play only reimburse after 2 hours which was the time to download the game. after this time they advice to contact the dev company.
Please, tell me what should I do to have a refund.
    Thanks

Unfortunately it appears your Android device uses the same GPU as the above Android user (ULP GeForce). Unfortunately this is an unsupported GPU to run the game successfully. I recommend either playing on an Android device above minimum requirements, or contacting Google Play Support for a refund request. Please note that we are unable to provide refunds for games purchased through third-party distributors such as the Google Play Store.

  • I've asked this question before, and haven't gotten an answer. Plus i should point out that this problem is not specific to a few Android devices; people have reported the exact same problem across several platforms on here. And episode two is the only episode that will not load on my device, I'm still wondering why. The rest of the game runs fine.

Unfortunately at this time, we have not announced any plans to add the ability to skip the intro recap. I will make sure to pass both of your interests in such a feature along to the team!

My apologies, please also try downloading Episode 2, then after you have downloaded the episode, try deleting your save file, and replaying from the beginning, and you should be able to play Episode 2 successfully. Again, apologies for any difficulties this may cause you.

  • I have tried force closing the application, clearing the cache, then clearing the data, then uninstalling the application, and re downloading. However, my save files are still there! Anyone know how/why?

  • TelltaleMike, I did it on my Galaxy S3, but the issue on Episode 2 is still there :(

@Jenables and @BigBadMonkey Your save files are stored internally even after deleting the game application. The only way to delete save files from your device would be to connect your device to your computer, and delete the save files manually from the device's storage.

  • @TelltaleMike, Unfortunately, It doesn't work either. I uninstalled TWAU and I also deleted the folder on my device while connected to my PC. I then installed TWAU Episode 1 and 2 and played again. At the beginning of Episode 2, it crashed again :(

Hope this help for your troubleshoothing

My apologies for any difficulties this has caused you. Unfortunately you may also be experiencing this because your device's GPU does not meet the minimum system requirements to run the game successfully. This may cause performance issues such as the one you are experiencing. I recommend either playing on a device with a more powerful GPU, or contacting Google Play Support for any inquiries regarding refunds, or refund requests.

  • Thread: Is anyone able to start Ep. 2 on a Galaxy s3? (Or any android device for that matter)

I see a lot of people have the same problem and was wondering if there was a work around.

Also it seems that there aren't a lot of mobile devices the game works on.
