Walking Dead Season 1 OS X 10.10 Crash

I recently decided I wanted to go back and play the walking dead game series from the first season to the second. But there's a big problem, I couldn't get the First Season to start. It gets to the "Click To Start" button screen right before the menu pops up, but all it does is freeze. Then all I can do is force quit because the cursor will not even move. I wonder if this has anything to do with the new Yosemite OS that is just full of glitches. Is there any way to contact TTG about getting this problem fixed so that it works with this OS? Am I the only one having this problem?

I'm on a 2010 13" Macbook Model A1342
OS: OS X 10.10
Processor: 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory: 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Graphics: NVIDIA GeFOrce 9400M 256 MB

  • Will They ever update this game so I can play it? or not?

  • [FIXED] So I just tried it again since the Yosemite 10.10.1 Update and it works. But it still acts like its frozen once it starts connecting. It takes about 5 minutes for it to finally load the main menu. So even though TaleTale lists this game as compatible for up to OS 10.9, it is now OS 10.10 compatible as well, you just have to wait longer for the game to actually start.

I apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for posting how you were able to resolve the issue. If you do reach a blank screen, you can also try switching the game to Windowed Mode using the Mac shortcut (Command+F) and see if you are then able to see the game screen successfully.
