Episode 2 failure on Galaxy S3
Hi,
It's time you did something about the Android problem, Telltale. Post after post about TWAU ep 2 crashing is not enough? The best you can do is "turn it off and on again"? How many times do we have to repeat that we have all our updates installed, that we tried resetting the phone, that we killed all background processes, etc.?
I paid for a season pass and got an unusable product. The least you can do is tell us what you're doing about it.
Thanks.

I just made a similar post. I don't understand this support page. You can post your issues , but where are the solutions?
Im in the same boat, I've done all recommend steps, its super annoying it decided to not work afteri bought the season pass, ive triedto contact telltale multiple times with no response or anything,
I am having the same issue I bought the season pass and episode two will not work. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and uninstalled the episode and reinstalled it too. Nothing works. I have sent three emails to Telltale over a week and a half span and have gotten nothing back and honestly im pissed. I have worked in a customer service department before and we didnt let more then a day go bye before we got back to our customers. This is ridiculous that we all have payed for something that does not work and no one is keeping us informed.
I apologize for the inconvenience, and the delayed response. Below are a few potential solutions (You may have tried a few of them, but I will post all of the potential solutions below):
1) Make sure your OS is updated to the most recent version
2) Force stop the application, and then relaunch it
3) Reset your WiFi settings by turning them Off, and back On then reconnect with the network.
4) Turn off your device for a few minutes, before attempting to launch the game again.
5) Go to the device’s Settings Menu, then go to Applications, then Manage Applications, and select the Game Application and tap ‘Clear Data’.
6) Delete the application from your device, and re-download it from the App Store (Please note that this will delete your save data)
I an going to post my suggestion to telltale in several places, hopefully i get a response. Try making a patch with no episode one recap at the beginning of episode two for those of us with this problem... And it's called google play, not the app store.
I realise you were probably talking about amazon there, sorry! I guess I can always try rooting my tablet...
I've tried on Lg G2 with stock Android 4.4.2 and Samsung Galaxy Note III 8.0 with Cyanogenmod 4.4.4, No luck...!
I also wrote an email 3 days ago, they don't seem to have enough QA (quality assurance) as to provide an automated reply assigning you a user case number and a time of response... If this was Gameloft, we'd have a free game and an apology at this point.
This seems to be an obvious bug in the URL address of Episode 2. I get "Downloading ... 0%" for half of a second and then "Network Unavailable"
They didn't take the time to reply our emails, but they took our money quite fast. This is really frustrating. I'd suggest to begin giving it 1 star on Google Play until this is solved or our money is reimbursed.
PS:// Tried the steps suggested here. No luck...!
So you are having trouble with the download? I read elsewhere on here that someone who couldn't dl tried on a whim using the wifi at mcdonalds and it worked. They figured it worked because their signal is more powerful I guess. Of course that shouldn't be necessary in any case to download a game!
Nope. Never had this problem with another game nor found problems in the tests I've performed to my network. I'll try it from yet another network on Dec 10, though. But there's no indication that it is the case. I have even switched DNS servers. And some people on Mac machines -iSomething and the like- are experiencing the same weird thing. There's something wrong in the download code or some throttling issue depending on IP.
I concur. that shouldn't be necessary in any case to download a game!
Ah, so weird! The game is so good too, even if it doesn't really feel like a game it's a damn good story. Having played through everything except chapter two, I keep wishing there was more. Then I remember there is, but it just won't run on my tablet. Good luck!!
So according to this thread https://www.telltalegames.com/support/discussion/86138/samsung-galaxy-s3-crashes, it seems the Samsung galaxy s3 is not supported at all??? Where were the minimum specs posted? What was I even able to download this app and make purchases? Why has this information not been made readily available to your customers???
We should all get refunds.
