Crash on Nexus Player

I'm playing The Wolf Among Us (app version 1.20) on a Nexus Player (Lollipop 5.0 build LRX21M). I experienced a crash during episode 2, during/following the cutscene where Crane uses the lamp to smash the mirror. I reopened the game which loaded from the point where we enter room 207. The crash happened a second time at the same point.

I apologize for the inconvenience, and for the delayed response. Below are a few potential solutions:

    1) Make sure your OS is updated to the most recent version

    2) Force stop the application, and then relaunch it

    3) Reset your WiFi settings by turning them Off, and back On then reconnect with the network.

    4) Turn off your device for a few minutes, before attempting to launch the game again.

    5) Go to the device’s Settings Menu, then go to Applications, then Manage Applications, and select the Game Application and tap ‘Clear Data’.

    6) Delete the application from your device, and re-download it from the App Store (Please note that this will delete your save data)

  • worst part is, first they don't answer, then they reply with generic Canned responses. Terrible, terrible customer support.

If you are still experiencing the issue, can you please clarify if you have Cyanogenmod running on your device?

    Hi @TelltaleMike,

I have exactly the same issue, the game crashes (episode 2) at the end of chapter 6 during the loading.
I am running the latest official version of the Nexus Player - android 5.1.1 version LMY47V
This is easily reproducible (happens everytime no matter our choices during the chapter)

The nexus player is a great device for your games. It's a pleasure to play them on a tv using a controller, but it's very frustrating to see thoses crashes.

EDIT: Problem solved: I ended up transfering the savegames to another android device (my phone), played the chapter, and put the saves back on the nexus player once the chapter is finished.
