iOS version

Hi,
Does anyone know if tales from the borderlands will be released for iOS 6, or will it force us to upgrade to iOS 7 or even 8? Telltale game have always ran amazing on iOS 6 with older devices, but have terrible lag on devices such as the iPod touch 5th gen when they have iOS 7 or 8 installed.
