Dialogue doesnt work

Heyo.

Posting it here aswell, as I didnt get any responce on the other thread.

The sound to the dialogues doesnt work. At all. Everything else such as music and soundeffects runs perfectly.
I've played like 20 minutes now, hoping it'd get better. Though it didnt. In this time i've heard maybe two or three sentences of dialogue.

Rest of the time its just silent while the subtitles run.

Hope I can get some assistance, as I've tried restarting the pc, restarting steam, uninstall the game and reinstall it.
Also tried mixing the settings as I heard some of the dialogue very low when there was no background sound. Didnt work

    I figured it out though.

    Try and go to the settings on your soundunit (propably a headset)
    Mine was on 5.1 Surround. So I switched it to only two soundunits (left and right) instead of (all around the shit)
    Then the sound worked. Guess my headset wasnt made for surround, or atleast the game wasnt optimized for it.

  • Yeah this fixed my issue as well, just got my new audio technica ath-m50s today so I guess they're not compatible with the 5.1 sound.

  • I have most certainly enjoyed it. First episode was fantastic.
    Will defintively play it through several times before the next episode is released :-)
