iOS vs PS4?

On which platform should I get this? iOS or PS4?
I've played Wolf Among Us and Walking Dead on the iPad and I loved the experience. Seeing how these are narrative-driven titles with minimal gameplay, I feel touchscreen works better.
But I'm worried about what would happen to my save files if I format my iPad. The safer save system is what's pushing me towards the PS4.

Thoughts?

    If Tales from the Borderlands is any indication, newer Telltale titles seem to be experimenting with cloud saving linked to your Telltale Games profile. I am unsure if saves carry across platforms as I have only played on PC, but nevertheless, I think either platform would be fine if cloud saves are being worked with.

    Buy it on PC/MAC. The consoles/ios/android version has problems. If you don't like the long waiting time between scenes, lag and freeze screens buy Telltale Games on PC/MAC.
