Xbox 360, Manual Updates?

Is there a way to manually update the game on Xbox 360? The update notice doesn't really pop up when I start the game and I just got it. The Game is pretty laggy, and I'm not sure if it's the disc or that it needs an update.

    It seems to be a common problem for the 360 disc version to be pretty laggy. Unfortunately there's no patch out there to fix this. We all hope Telltale will release one in the near future.
