    I wonder if this lack of choices appearing and the lack of the choice menu has anything to with episode two not taking into account the choices you made in previous episodes.

    I started episode 2 and the "last time on..." segment showed different choices than the ones I made during my playthrough of the first episode.

  • Same problem here. Playing in Europe.
    Perfectly linked account, always online. But no choices on Ep1 and Ep2. Not in the game menu en not on the website.
    How difficult can it be to fix this?

  • I hope so. It's almost as if the game doesn't register that you've finished the episode. The way if doesn't show the choices page, and on mine it says "continue episode 1" where episode 1 is on the menu, and if I click it it takes me to the final scene with ramsay.

  • What's interesting is that the website is only showing two choices from episode 1, both pertaining to Margeary. Even though I've beaten the entire episode, while connected to the internet.

  • I'm starting to worry that not only can't we see our choices at the end of ep.1 ...but they don't even carry over to episode 2 at all :( ...noticed a lot of people complaining ep.2 didn't recognize their ep.1 choices, for me luckily(?) only one choice wasn't right in ep.2, but still kinda pointless and annoying if I have to depend on luck that the default state matches my previous choices

  • Yes exact same for me. Hopefully it's an error with the choices screen rather than an indication my choices haven't gone across.

    Episode 2 seemed to ok when I played it apart from one minor thing but my choices may just be similar to what are the default choices.

    I do not want to complain about devs, making games is a difficult task. But seriously, episode 2 is the most broken product that was released in a very long while. Almost nobody can play it, by the looks of it.

    I, myself, have the choices bug. I played through the first episode three times. One of the times in a new save file to make sure I am connected to the Telltale account. Nothing. My choices do not carry over, I do not even have the My Choices menu option. The website does not display my choices either. I de-installed the game fully several times. That fixed squat. This is very frustrating, because I've bought Season Pass and I cannot play the game because all of my choices happen to be the opposite of defaults.

    The lack of updates on the issue is disheartening as well. I would figure with that amount of dissatisfied customers people should be working their butts off, because let us be honest, this release flop harmed the Telltale reputation amongst gamers quite a bit, imo. And most likely the team is working hard but letting us know would be great too. :)

  • Telltale, just release an update where we can input our choices manually.

  • How about a freaking update about that? first the Problem with the Season Pass of Borderlands now this, months later and no update on it
    Give us something and not just "we are aware of the issue and working on it"

  • Ugh, apparently they're working on a fix, but it should be out now, instead it looks like it's not even coming out.

  • Everyone calm down your choices are saved to your save files and it is not dependant on you getting the choice screen at the end of the episode so if your choices are not carrying over than that is a completely separate issue and you need to make a new forum about it and stop complaining about telltale they have a lot on their plate with tales from the borderlands and game of thrones being finished as we speak and the writing of the walking dead season 3 and the minecraft story mode and what ever they have planned after that probably in discussion around now and as for episode 2 being unplayable i dont know what to say i had no problem on xbox one this is a problem which will get fixed as they have already fixed this problem in tales from the borderlands and you cant expect the telltale member to know what is going on with it's resolution as i guess he is a sort of voice but not the actual developer. Telltale is an amzing studio which cares about stories and player choice and this type of problem is an important problem for them to focus on and i am sure they are just be patient

    Then they should stop work on the new stuff and fix this problem.

    If this has been known since December and they still chose to release the episode how can you say they care about us? I bought the season pass (like a lot of people) expecting a working product when they release the episodes.

    I don't see how at least getting an official statement/apology from TT (not a community manager) is too much to ask.

    Everyone calm down your choices are saved to your save files and it is not dependant on you getting the choice screen at the end of the epis

  • The problem with the choice screen is such a minor problem and saying they should stop working on future projects is dumb this will be fixed in their own time it understandable that you want an update hell i even asked for one but Telltale don't owe you anything you payed for the episodes you played the episodes just because a list choices don't come up it shouldn't ruin your enjoyment of the game and if these problems with the episodes are true don't you think they want to focus on those problems right now and the minor problems like the choice screen later

  • The problem is basic. On Xbox One the choices don't carry over. This is a pretty serious problem. The choices don't show up anywhere too. Wastemaster25, how is that a minor problem?

    It is not about the absence of 'My Choices' screen. I could live with that. It is the core of the game being broken, not allowing to continue with the decisions you've made. Seeing how the game is based all around your decisions, this bug makes it unplayable for the people who happened to make the opposite choices from the defaults. This is not a 'minor' problem in any way.

    Sure you can play with the opposite choices but this is not what people paid for. It is not wise to call devs names but it is very understandable to voice your concerns and frustration over a serious issue.

  • Uk Console, no choices screen for me and the website shows I haven't made any choices either, even though I have finished Ep.1 multiple times...

    ALSO my choices aren't carrying over to the second episode at all.... If the choices haven't been working properly since December why hasn't it been fixed yet?

If you are currently experiencing the issue, can you please clarify what region/country you are currently located in, if you are using a wired or wireless connection, and when you played through Episode 1? (Did you play through Ep 1 when it released, or more recently?)

    I am located in the Netherlands
    I was using wireless connection while playing Ep 1 but was not connected to Telltale account. Replayed later in a new save slot, being fully connected to WiFi and Telltale account. No improvement.
    I played Ep 1 on 4th of January. Replayed it some two weeks ago.

  • I am located in the UK (England), I am using a wireless connection to my Xbox one. I have linked my Xbox live account to Telltale, I did that on release date, I have played through episode 1 at least 3 times once on release date, one in January and another a few days ago to try and fix the glitch to no avail. My friends are having the same problem too

    Have the same problem : Region France - Wired Connection - Telltate Account Created - Played the first episode when It was Released month ago. Don't have any "My choice" in the game menu. Don't have any report of my choices on the website. Purchased the season pass.

    Seriously? How can you say they don't owe us anything? THEY OWE US A WORKING GAME! One of the main points of enjoyment in these games is making decisions and watching how your choices affect the characters in every episode. If that part of the game is broken then we are not playing the game as it was meant to be played. Like you said, we paid for this game so we deserve a product that works like it's supposed to. Telltale has royally screwed up and there is no excuse so don't even try to defend them.

  • UK here wireless connection telltale account created and linked to the game a few weeks or so after episode one was released. No choices screen were present at the end of episode one and no my choices screen in episode 2 and like the thousands of other people that are complaining about this problem I would also like to know when this is going to be fixed because clearly there has been a problem since December and waiting this long to finish playing an episode of a choice based episodic game is past a joke.

    I could just play episode 2 with default choices but if I do that I am more than likely not going to want to bother with the remaining episodes as the whole point of your games is the story and player choices. Your storytelling skills are second to none but GoT really is broken and in my opinion has been rushed out in order to meet deadlines. Please sort this out as I like many others are considering not to bother with tell tale games again purely out of principal.
