Could some awesome person please summarise the facts you think new time players will need for this?

Hi,

So I really have neither time to read the books nor watch the tv show, and love telltale games: could someone familiar with the series and who has played the game please give us a basic outline of the events preceeding it such that we wont feel completely confused when playing?

    In this world Summers last for years. winters can last Decades. The main protagonists are the Stark family who rule the North part of the kingdom. The get embroiled in the politics of the south mainly against the Lannisters who now control the throne. The Starks are mostly defeated now, with the biggest blow being dealt at the beginning of the game. You play as part of a Minor family loyal to the Starks.

    Main Characters
    .
    Cersi Lannister: Queen Regent and all around terrible human being.
    .
    Tyrion Lanister: Brother of the Queen, a little person, a drunk and basically a decent guy.
    .
    Margery Tyrell: Betrothed to the new King.
    .
    Joffrey Lannister: The king and an awful shit.
    .
    Roose Bolton: New Warden of the North after betraying the Stark family at the beginning of this game.
    .
    Ramsey Snow: Roose Boltons bastard son, deranged lunatic.

    Sure here, Let me know if your lost. Also this is the basis of things at the beginnign of the series not end of season 3 where the game starts. Please let me know if you want to know this too
