Season Pass Query

This evening I have bought the season pass for GoT as well as downloading the trial and unlock data files. Attempting to download the season pass data results in failure every single time. I have tried several workarounds, such as clearing my download and installation queue via XMB, signing out of PSN and back in, turning the whole damn system off and on again, resetting the router (on the off chance I've been super unlucky and there's been connection issues that are my fault) and every single time, I'm bounced one screen back on the PSN store and download never successfully initiates.

Anyone else have any idea what the deal is here? I have confirmation e-mails stating that the payments have gone through as well and in spite of all this faffing around, every time I start up the game and head to the episodes tab within the main menu, I'm being told the season pass is, 'now available', not what I assume the correct message, 'purchased and installed' should be.

Any help would be super appreciated right about now because I can't help but feel I've just been swindled out of £20.

    My apologies, unfortunately Game of Thrones for European PS3 players does not officially release until next Wednesday, December 10th. We are currently working on an issue where the game shows as available before the release.

  • Well now that is super interesting because I'm totally playing it right now and the UK is part of the EU PS store. Just loaded it up as I peeked back on the message board to see if I had a response.

    So what you're saying is you aren't sure what's gone wrong but it's likely that with there being issues based on the release and availability, come Dec 10th, these problems could automatically resolve?

    Yes if you are able to download the game, and are experiencing an issue where you are unable to download all of the necessary files of the Season Pass, they will become available to download on Wednesday, December 10th, when the game is officially set to release for the PS3 in Europe.

  • I'm from germany... uk seems to have that problem too.. season passes but no episodes.. germany is also still waiting for Tales from the Borderlands which was supposed to come out last week..

  • Yeah, I'm in the UK and this is exactly the issue that I'm having. Not very good really, is it? Feel like I've been duped out of £20 and I'm just twiddling my thumbs waiting for a resolution....
