I apologize for the inconvenience. If you are receiving a Telltale Games Log In pop up right when starting the game, please close out of the game, and restart your Steam Client.(You should not receive a Telltale Games Log In window pop up message) Then after Steam has finished opening, click Play on the game again, and before you click on the 'Click To Continue' screen, try waiting a few minutes before clicking to continue. You should then not experience the issue again.

yes i have to put my email and password with telltale games but then i get another pop up window saying can't log in and there are two options: sign out (try again) and exit. no mater what i do it does not work
Did you download the game directly through the MacGameStore, or did you receive a code to download the game from our website? If you downloaded the game directly through the MacGameStore, you should not receive a log in message, and if you do, please try my above workaround by starting the game, and when you reach the 'Click to Continue' screen, try waiting 5 minutes before clicking, and see if you are then able to proceed to play the game successfully.

I have been having this same problem. I bought the game through telltale games' site-- I have a macbook pro, IOS 10.10.1-- and every time I try to start up episode 2 I get a popup asking me to login, but it never works. Waiting before I 'click to begin' made no difference. I've tried using my email address and my username and I've changed my password, but nothing.

Same problem, there are several threads in the support all with the same issue - it doesn't work with steam, MACGAMESTORE, or through the telltale direct buy - get same indications even with the patch uploaded - and waiting 5 minutes does nothing - would appreciate some assistance from the manufacturer.
Same issue for me, I just bought the mac version today, then loaded the newest Mac Patch, replaced the former application by it and tried the waiting hint (up to 15 minutes): a pop-up screen tells me i can´t be logged in and need to SIGN OUT or EXIT. If I click SIGN OUT, the screen freezes and i need to reboot my computer, if I click EXIT the application is closed. What else could we do in order to be able to play?
Are Telltale just going to ignore this issue? Or are they eventually going to fix it cause i bought this game over a month a ago now and i haven't been able to play it at all yet.
So - I just read this in another thread and it worked for me. i bought the game via telltale games directly.
When the telltale login window pops up, once you enter your email and password just hit 'enter' on your keyboard instead of clicking the 'login' button. Should work
