Are Rachel and Bloody Mary related?

I noticed some similarities in their eyes, freckles, hair, and mysterious pasts.

Could Bloody Mary actually be Aunty Greenleaf's daughter, Rachel, all grown up? That would be so interesting.

You're not the only one who noticed this before. In all honestly, anything can be possible in regards to the way things are going with TWAU's storyline.

It's been mentioned before. I don't get the freckle thing though: they're clearly different freckles.

  • It's been mentioned, Anythings possible but I bet it's just similar models.

Maybe her freckles changed as she got older?

  • Find out in season 2 wait...

  • It's all just a fan-theory atm... COME ON SEASON 2/DLC!!!!!

  • Do they change that dramatically?

I know people get more, but I've never heard of existing ones disappearing

  • I've had family members who used to have tons of freckles when they were young, but as they got older most of them faded or outright disappeared. It's possible that Mary's older freckled faded as she got newer ones.

  • I made a thread a long time ago when the episode with Rachel in it was released. I think the exact same thing, but we can't be sure unless TT actually tells us. Hopefully through a season 2!

  • With all the fan reception that Mary gets, I wouldn't be surprised if they made a TWAU spin-off comic about her.... That would be so cool!

  • I could honestly see her as an anti-hero. :3

  • It. Would. Be. Perfect! Tbh, before I got into Fables/Fairest properly, I expected Bill Willingham to write a Fairest story arc about Mary... then I discoverd the truth that he won't.

I could honestly see her as an anti-hero.

  • i hope not. i kinda prefer her to be a mystery. makes her creepier IMO

  • Mystery is good, but this theory is one of those things that needs to be dealt with...

  • I was playing TWAU today, and decided to read Auntie Greenleaf's 'Book of Fables'. It said her daughter, Rachel, was lost in the Woodlands.

    I 10/10 support this theory.
