Monkey Island pre-order questions

Hi,

Im new to buying games from Telltale games. My girlfriend however is an avid fan of Monkey Island. I wanted to pre-order the series for her for all the bonuses etc, but I dont want her to know about it.

My questions are:
1) how do i purchase the series in regards to the activation/unlocking etc if i have used my email address and login details to purchase the game.

as, if I purchase it using my login details, does the game become locked to my details or is it just based on a serial number activation process.

    There are two ways to unlock the games - using your Telltale login / password, or using your serial number. The serial number will be attached to your order and your account, but it's no problem for your girlfriend to use it.

    If you do want access to the pre-order bonuses (special forum, free game coupon, and access to the special Steve Purcell art for the Collector's DVD), I suggest buying it now under your email address. If you want we can transfer the order over to your girlfriend after the game launches and you've told her about it.

    Alternatively, you can wait until the first episode launches and buy her a gift version of the game. We have this turned off during the pre-order period since the gift system wouldn't know how to handle the pre-order bonuses.
