Black Screen

I purchased GoT the other day through steam but it just won't launch. I have browsed everywhere on the internet for a solution without any luck.. I have tried everything stated, from verifying the cache to running it in compatibility mode, but I'm still getting the same issue : When I try to run it, the screen goes black with only a white cursor visible and, after clicking, the application ends and I get two messages. The first goes : "Sorry, this account is not authorized to access this game", the second goes "The application failed to initialize"

    Can you please clarify if you have tried updating your graphics card's drivers to the latest version? Also, please try installing and running the DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer to make sure Direct X is auto updated to the latest version, and you should then be able to start the game.

    I have already updated to the latest version and tried running that program but the messages continue to appear

    I apologize for the inconvenience. Can you please clarify if you are seeing a Telltale Games pop up window asking you to sign in? If you are receiving a Telltale Games Log In pop up right when starting the game, please close out of the game, and restart your Steam Client.(You should not receive a Telltale Games Log In window pop up message) Then after Steam has finished opening, click Play on the game again, and before you click on the 'Click To Continue' screen, try waiting a few minutes before clicking to continue. You should then not experience the issue again.

    The pop up window is from Telltale Games but it isn't asking me to sign in and I tried restarting my Steam Client but it didn't worked at all.

    Please try these two potential solutions:

    1) Disable Steam Overlay, if you purchased through Steam (http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3168263)

    2) Opt out of the Steam Beta, if you purchased through Steam (http://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/1/828934424165581080/)

    If these do not resolve your issue, could you please take a screenshot of the error message as it appears on your computer?
