I am going to give this game the benefit of the doubt. I am not sure that I will buy this game, but I will at least see what Telltale will do with Minecraft. I am not sure about the story, but the world of Minecraft (as far as I know) is Huge. I have played Minecraft before, while I never did like the gameplay, the world is interesting.

Regarding what kind of story, they will write, I think it will be a comedy and action at most. Drama and dark stuff doesn't really mesh with Minecraft (Unless Telltale plans to explore the depths of Minecraft, that place is dark and creepy.)
