TMI Vista Countdown Gadget

Hey guys. I've made a basic Vista countdown gadget which which shows the days remaining until Tales of Monkey Island is released. I made it with two different backgrounds.

Just download the file for the design you want and unzip it into your %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets folder. If you have any troubles, or if the download stops working (wouldn't be surprised), let me know.

    Oh, just as an aside, if the dates of the next episodes are announced a reasonable time before they are actually released, I'll update the gadget to countdown until them instead. However, it will mean you'll have to redownload the gadget again. I toyed with the idea of making the gadget grab the countdown info from a webpage, but I figured some people might not always be connected to the internet, and it would be quicker and more efficient just to allow it to get the data from files on your computer.

    Also, apologies to Mac users, but I've no idea how to create widgets, nor do I have a machine to test its functionality on.

    Okay, going by what the countdown gadget says, today marks "24 days until Tales of Monkey Island". That would mean that on the 6th of July, it will say 0 days until Monkey Island. But there will actually still be 1 day left because the game comes out on the 7th! So it really should say 25 days, today.

    edit: Had to fiddle with the code, but it's working correctly for me now.

    Hoppy, I believe I set it to say "it's out!" on midnight/morning of the 6th/7th, but I may be mistaken.

    The code is a bit weird.. regardless of how you set it up, today is not 24 days until release.. it's 25. I just offset the day by one to make up the difference.

    what do people think? and what time can we download the game on the 7th cos I didnt know so just guessed I can change the time if its wrong.

    You could do something about "design", Anne26, but apart from that it looks fine ;)

    When I wanna be sure how much days it is, I always use my counter.

    For instance I'm 10369 days or 1481 weeks and 2 days old today :p

    still cant get anyone elses to work, oh well I guess i will have to make do with the one I made myself regardless of the crap design.
