Yes you can, the files should be uploaded to and then downloaded from a cloud based save system but if that doesn't work you might need to copy the saved files from one PC and paste them to the other from this location

    C:\Documents\Telltale Games\Game of Thrones

  • Shouldn't this be in the support forums?

    Try this path

    C:\Users\ Your Name \Documents\Telltale Games\Game of Thrones

or type Game of Thrones into the search bar on the windows start menu and the folder that contains the save files should appear in the search results.

That's strange, i'm not sure what the problem could be. I will try asking @TelltaleMike to help as he helps with support related questions so might know what the problem is.

As @OzzyUK stated, please move all of your save files from the above stated file directory, into the same exact place on your other PC. Then start the game. If you reach the Click to Continue screen when starting the game through Steam, and then get a pop up stating you don't own the game, please try waiting at the Click to Continue screen for 5-10 minutes before clicking to continue. Then click, and you should not experience the same pop up message again.

On a Mac, you will be able to find your save files in

    ~Library\Application Support\Telltale Games\Game of Thrones\

Your Library folder is sometimes hidden, to make it visible, please open a Finder window, and at the top of the screen, click Go and hold down the Option key. The Library will now become available in the drop down menu. Click that and follow the above file path, and you should be able to find your save files there.

  • I bought the game for steam and I'm using the same computer. I have windows 7 and the game doesn't recognize my save. My choices are all there when I go to choices but it acts like I never saved the game and have to start at the beginning. How can I fix this? Now it just won't seem to save since chapter 3.

My apologies, if you are experiencing this issue on Steam, please make sure that Steam has updated your game to the latest version. Then restart Steam, and start the game again, and you should then be able to see your save files successfully. If you still experience an issue, please try uninstalling the game from your computer, then re-install it, and after the game has finished installing, the auto-update will begin to include Episode 3, and the game's latest patch files. Afterwards you should then be able to start the game, and play Episode 3 with your save files intact.

I had the same issue as MiraForester and do you know why? When I went into the save folder, my old saves were in a folder that had been renamed, not by me I should add, "Game of Thrones A Telltale Games Series" when the game is actually looking for a folder called "Game of Thrones". I replayed the game from the beginning to then realise this. It was a nice refresher, but still. Very, very strange. Does the newly updated version look for a different folder than the old one? Even the PC Gaming Wiki site tell you the saves are in the folder "Game of Thrones A Telltale Games Series". Mine aren't.

The save files for your game should be stored in \Documents\Telltale Games\Game of Thrones\ If you are seeing a different file directory being made for the game, could you please take a screenshot of what you are seeing on your computer? Also, could you please read this Sticky on how to run our Support Tool, and follow the steps to run the tool, and reply here with the download link copied and pasted into a reply.
