Can not start the game - blackscreen

Hy!
Yesterday i bought the game TWD2 and every time i try to start this game I only get a blackscreen and after a few seconds the desktop shows up again...but there is no error message...
the walking dead 1 and 400 days worked without any problem.
I run the game on Win7.

I hope someone can help me...

  • I have allready tried these things but nothing worked:

    [1:] Try verifying your cache:

    Go into your library and right click onto the walking dead season 2, go in to local files and click on the verify cache tab and wait for it to finish.

    If that doesn't work, try running the game in compatibility mode:

    By going into your library once again then go and right click onto the walking dead season 2 and go into properties, then go to the local files tab and click on the "browse local file." button and you'll see your game icon, right click it and go into properties and go to compatibility and click on the "run this program in compatibility mode for:" and it'll give you a tick on the box, then go and click windows 98/ME (They recommend it.)

    [2:] Or go and reinstall the game again:

    Go to the library and right click on the walking dead season 2 and go into properties, then go into local file and click on "Delete local game content." and then I'll delete the game.

    An easier way to delete it:

    Go to your library and right click on the walking dead season 2 and above your properties it'll say "delete local content..."

    [3:] Run your game as Admin:

    Like the compatibility instructions you'll see below the compatibility mode that there is an Admin mode click on it and it'll give you a tick on the box.

    [4:] Uncheck the compatibility mode:

    If you've already had your game on compatibility mode before then uncheck it.

  • What I haven't mentioned yet, I have AVG installed on my computer and when I first started the game AVG opened a window that says that any kind of virus is in TWD2 but i pressed the ignore button. I don't know if this information helps anything but maybe it will.

Where we require a minimum of 512mb of dedicated memory, your computer is currently running at 128mb of dedicated memory. Your computer uses an integrated Intel graphics card, which we do not recommend using for our game, as they tend to run under minimum specs. I recommend either trying to update your current graphics card's drivers to the latest version, and see if you are able to play, or try playing the game on a computer above minimum system requirements if you have the ability to.
