I've never watched The Game of Thrones, and I don't plan to. I have loved every Telltale game I've ever played. If I played this game, would I need to have watched the show to understand the events or is it easy to get into?

    So far it is fairly easy to get into. Maybe not so much in the future episodes, though.

    You wont understand a lot of what people are talking about but you may like it

    The cameos/references are really strong in this game unlike previous Telltale games but for the most part you will understand it. Its a great game so far, I recommend it.

    You'll be fine, the story revolves around House Forrester which isn't even in the TV Show and only mentioned in the books.
