Save files erased

My save files are keep getting erased all the way to Episode 1. Linked below is what I did based on the information you guy posted us: http://www.telltalegames.com/community/discussion/44150/twd-support-tool-for-information-gathering

    Please rename the prefs.prop files in

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Walking Dead\Pack\default

    and

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Walking Dead

    to prefs.prop.bak to disable it, then start the game again, and your save files will be restored.
