Game didn't download at all

I was trying to download. It stalled at less than 5% done, and never stopped. Now the icon is gone, and I can't redownload from the site. HELP!

  • I've tried downloading again, and still nothing works. I also downloaded the GOT_Mac_Support_Tool, but it won't open because it's from an "unidentified developer" and could contain malware -- not going to take the chance of losing data or corrupting my harddrive. I'm starting to think this is just one big scam.

If you are receiving an 'Unidentified Developer' error message, you may need to disable Gatekeeper. To do this, click the Apple logo on the top toolbar and select System Preferences. Now select Security. If the padlock in the bottom left corner of this screen is not open, click on it. You will now see 3 options for downloaded applications, they are: Mac Store, Mac Store and identified developers, and Anywhere. Please select Anywhere and then confirm your selection. Once this is done, please attempt to download the game from our website. You should no longer see the damaged file messaging.

If you still experience issues downloading the game, please also try making sure you are connected to a strong internet connection. If you are using a wireless network, please also try using a wired connection, and see if your connection with our servers is stronger, and allows you to download the install file completely.

  • Why do I want to expose my computer to unsafe downloads in this fashion? I'd prefer to just get a rerun at this point. This is very disappointing.

  • I can't believe you people. Not only do I get no answer to this, and no response to my request for a refund, but now I'm getting emails telling me that a new episode is available. This is one big scam!

My apologies for the delayed response. We currently have had an overwhelming amount of support requests after the launch of Game of Thrones, and we are working hard to answer every one. Please contact our Support Staff at Support@Telltalegames.com, and they will be able to assist you further with your particular issue. Please make sure to include the email address associated with your Telltale account, and the Order ID number that you received at the time of purchase, in the email.
