Touchpad not responding in game properly

Hi I've just purchased episode 1 and I'm right at the start of the game running through the crowds and when it comes to having to swipe on the touchpad it doesn't work. Sometimes I'll get one if the actions but it's not being responsive at all. I can't get any further as it requires me to swipe a few times left and right to avoid the hirses and getting strangled by the soldier. I've found another person on the Internet that is having the same problem as me but has no response yet. I've also tried a different controller and shutting down the game and restarting.

    I have found that I can use the analogue sticks instead of swiping on touchpad. Sorted ;)

    My apologies, unfortunately the touchpad on the PS4 controller is not enabled to work with the swiping Quick-Time Events. I am glad that you were able to continue playing, enjoy the game!
